After completing my post-graduation in Development Economics, I worked as a Research Associate at J-PAL in Bangalore where I gained first-hand insight into evidence-based policy making. However, my passion towards uplifting human development by leveraging government and civil society pushed me into roles at the grassroot levels. In my last position at Swaniti Initiative, I worked as a project officer for livelihood and skill development with the district administration of a severely LWE affected area. Having led diverse interventions in challenging circumstances, I gained multi-dimensional and multi-sectoral experience.

Overall, my academic and work experience has been a blend of research and government consultancy and has only strengthened my resolve to improve the lives of the under-privileged sections by effectively utilizing my technical skills.

I believe that PPIA fellowship broadens the horizons of my scope of work and would help me bring distinct and specialized perspectives to policymaking as well as policy execution. It would give me the opportunity to work across various sectors and execute interventions at scale.
