Being a village boy, from the childhood I have seen the ground reality and grassroots problems. The childhood experience motivated me to choose the social sector as a profession. My personal aim is being a development practitioner, where I can contribute to make positive change in the life of people by helping them to fulfill their needs.
I have completed B.Sc. in “Agriculture Rural and Tribal Development” from “Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute”, Ranchi, Jharkhand. It is an interdisciplinary curriculum which helped me to understand the realities of the grassroots level. I have completed M.Sc. with specialization in “Sustainable Livelihoods and Natural Resources Governance” from Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS), Tuljapur Campus. This helped me to understand different capital under livelihood framework and their role in sustainable livelihoods. I have done many internship with State Rural Livelihood Mission and different grass root level organization. I involved in the different field like “Agriculture, Skill Development, Women Empowerment, Economic empowerment and Social empowerment, Resource Based Livelihood, Education, Health” etc. These strategies are implemented in the rural area for making the people self-reliant and increase the economic condition of the rural people and their development.
I have started my career as Young Professional (YP) with Maharashtra State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM), Govt. of Maharashtra. My key responsibility was strengthening the Model Cluster Level Federation (MCLF) under NRETP project. I was engaged in the social inclusion, institution building, capacity building, financial inclusion and promoting livelihood activity in the grass root area for economic development of the village and the sustainable growth. I also worked as Relationship Manager in Samunnati for making markets works for small and marginal farmers as well as making sustainable source of income for the farmers.
