Ram Kumar, Garhwa, Jharkhand

Education: BSc. Mathematics, Marwari College, Ranchi University; PGDM-RM, XISS, Ranchi

Last Employer: Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society (JSLPS)

After completion of my PG in Rural Management, I joined JSLPS as a Young Professional to learn about the gamut of interventions taking place to improve the lives and livelihoods of marginalised rural women by the judicious use of technology, innovation, and human resources.

During this enriching professional journey of incessant understanding and learning, I was involved in a lot of projects across income generation, skills development, nutrition & health, and social development, and I learned the operational modalities of the theory of change (ToC) works during project implementation at the community level.

My professional experience and education have provided me with a thorough understanding of the productivity process, including how to accurately measure progress beyond simply reporting numbers. This fellowship will enable me to work with the district administration to execute and monitor large-scale development projects while also exploring previously unexplored areas of mine such as education and healthcare.
