Last Employer: Bihar Rural Livelihood Promotion Society (BRLPS)
Pen Profile: Being attached to village from childhood, I have seen grassroot problems and difficulties from very young age. And this was the reason I Choose to come in development sector and work for the vulnerable people.
My first job was in Bihar Rural Livelihood Promotion Society (BRLPS) as Young Professional (YP) where my responsibility was to strengthen Model Cluster Level Federation (M-CLF) under NRETP Project. I was engaged with community for different themes such as institution building, financial inclusion, social inclusion and to promote livelihood activities such as Farm, Livestock and Non-Farm. Later, I work in Bihar Government Project being YP- SJY (Satat Jeevikoparjan Yojana) District Nodal where I was personally involved with more than 6000+ households considered to be Ultra-Poor and supported them to make their Livelihood better by providing them training as well as financially support them to choose the livelihood of their choice. While working as YP-SJY, I was somehow involved with District Magistrate and Excise Department for my work.
Being a PPIA Fellow will help me to understand the different dynamic within District Administration and provide me opportunity to help community by involving with different departments.
