I have always been engaged with the issues and concerns of the society and nation at large. This nature has brought me into the field of community engagement. Eventually, my interests led me to pursue Masters in Rural Development and Governance from Tata Institute of Social Sciences. TISS gave me a conceptual understanding of the real life issues and concerns of the people which human as a society is facing. The course equipped me with all the relevant theatrical knowledge to prepare me to enter into the professional space and further acquire practical experiences relevant to my motivations.
I started my career at PRADAN with the Development Apprentice programme, where I have undergone rigorous community immersion utlising ethnographic methods to deeply understand key rural developmental issues. Later I worked with Administrative staff college of India as a research associate and also in Uttarkhand livelihood mission as a Young Professional.
The search for innovation and constructive contribution to the grassroot policy issues brought me to Aspirational District Fellowship(ADF). The reason which made me to chose ADF as my next career step is its approach of holistic multidimensional development. I am excited to explore and understand the critical challenges to find practical and sustainable answers for the peoples sufferings and concerns
