A cultural enthusiast with a diverse educational, interdisciplinary research and field experience, I have a keen interest in employing ethnographic research techniques for on-ground program design and implementation. Of particular interest are the design, promotion and expansion of comprehensive strategies and policies in conservation, livelihood and education space which can be tailored to specific populations across communities.

I have travelled across the breadth of the country during various internships and work experiences and enjoys an interdisciplinary approach of involving and engaging directly with multiple stakeholders for problem solving.

One of the notable research projects is the statewide study of 110+ last mile schools for baselining Science education across 3 districts in Uttarakhand impacting ~1Million school students in the state with VigyanShaala International. Furthering on this research, I have deployed Rural STEM Champions program in Pithoragarh and Champawat disrticts of Uttarakhand to fill Rural Opprtunity Gap (ROG) in Science Education during the pandemic.

Also, to generate alternative sources of livelihood for Indigenous community at Pangi Valley in Himachal Pradesh, I have worked to implement Community-based Rural Tourism (CBRT) model involving multiple stakeholders such as concerned Government agencies and prominent organisations i.e. United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD).

Joining TRIF, brings me an exciting opportunity to solve complex development challenges through an interdisciplinary and data- oriented perspective with the District Administration. Further, the prospects of being mentored by a community of experienced policy- makers as well as collaborating with impact driven peer-network of fellows is what I find particularly inspiring. I am sure with my past experiences, I will be able to create an impact in Aspirational Districts.
